MEET THE TEAM!
Sellwood Training is comprised of a small, experienced and enthusiastic team dedicated to providing the highest quality training in both First Aid and Mental Health.
Established in 1995 to deliver First Aid at Work courses, the company has expanded and grown to include carefully selected trainers able to offer a wide range of First Aid courses and Mental Health training sessions which have been developed in response to our customers' needs.

Based in Cambridge, Sellwood Training relies largely on personal recommendations from satisfied clients We are able to avoid a lot of the overheads of the larger training providers and our courses, whilst extremely economical, achieve very high standards.

Ann Sellwood
As a qualified teacher since 1974, Ann , became involved with First Aid in 1982 as an instructor and assessor, and was a serving member of the St John Ambulance Brigade during the 1980s. She has vast practical experience as a first aider in the workplace and has worked on a self-employed basis for many independent training organisations, large and small over many years. She set up Sellwood Training in 1995 and has enjoyed tremendous success since then.
Ann is registered as a controller under the Data Protection Act 1998. She is approved to deliver Ofqual Regulated Qualifications accredited by Qualsafe Awards and qualified as an Automated External Defibrillator instructor in 2008 and as a Tourniquet and Haemostatic Dressings trainer in 2014.

Ann's professionalism, warmth and wealth of knowledge and experience has led to her being highly regarded, as evidenced by our testimonials, and is routinely consulted and employed by businesses, charities and educational institutions locally and nationally.

Claire Reid
Claire has been a First Aid trainer and Assessor for several years and is approved by Qualsafe Awards to deliver Ofqual Regulated qualifications.
Claire has twenty years practical experience as a First Aider in the workplace, predominantly within the Health and Social Care sector. Drawing upon her excellent communication skills and extensive experience working with people with diverse needs and backgrounds, Claire delivers each course in a clear, engaging and relaxed manner appropriate to the delegates' needs.

Brendan Reid
Brendan Reid (RMN) has over twenty years' experience working with people affected by mental health difficulties and is currently a specialist nurse practitioner within an adult crisis mental health.
He is an approved trainer with MHFA England including the 2 day, Higher education and refresher courses. He has also delivered many bespoke Mental Health awareness courses within higher education settings.

Brendan's relaxed and gentle manner lends itself to an open and inclusive training experience in which discussion and problem-solving are welcomed. His approachability, broad knowledge base and vast experience combine to make him an excellent, and popular trainer.
